Pat offers HIPAA-compliant online video therapy so you can meet from the comfort of your own space. Sessions are secure, private, and held through a dedicated client portal.

Get set up

Reach out with your name, email, and phone number. Pat will contact you, and once you've connected, she'll create your account and send a follow-up email to complete setup. Setup must be finished before your first video session.

Session day

Checking in to your session.

  1. 01Log in to your account using the client portal link.
  2. 02On the left side of your screen, find Today's Reminders and click Check In.
  3. 03Confirm you wish to enter the session.
  4. 04For the Pre-Session Agreement, type in your approximate location.
  5. 05Use the chat box in the lower right corner to communicate with Pat.
  6. 06When ready, press Start Session to activate your microphone and camera.
  7. 07If your device asks to allow access to microphone and camera, click Allow.

Before we meet

Are you ready for online therapy?

A reasonably modern device.

A laptop, desktop PC, or Mac roughly three years old or newer runs the session software best. Older devices may struggle.

A reliable internet connection.

Wired via Ethernet is ideal; strong Wi-Fi works too. If Wi-Fi is spotty, sit closer to the router.

A modern browser.

Chrome or Firefox on a computer. On iPhone or iPad, updated Safari works. Internet Explorer and older Edge aren't supported.

A working webcam.

Most laptops have one built in. A desktop may need an external webcam.

Basic comfort with computers.

The portal is simple to navigate — no training required — but computers should feel manageable to you.
